Alban Thomas

Dr. Alban Thomas is a senior researcher in Economics at INRA and a member of the Toulouse School of Economics. His fields of expertise are Agricultural Economics, Resource and Environmental Economics, Statistics and Econometrics. He is the author of many articles on the risk management in agriculture. From 2006 to 2008, Dr. Thomas worked for the French Ministry of Agriculture on the project “Predictions of Green House Gases emissions from agriculture and forestry in France, 2010 and 2020”. Since 2012, he is the French coordinator of the international project “Adaptation of irrigated agriculture to climate change in India”. Alban Thomas is also the director of the INRA Metaprogram GloFoodS (Transition towards Global Food Security), since 2014.
